Abstract

This study aims to describe the validation of the test, the ability to understand student concepts, and the ability of students' mathematical literacy on learning using Cooperative Script learning model and the method of recitation. Cooperative Script learning model and Recitation method of pressing students can learn math fun, active, confident, and discuss with friends and closer between the mathematics with the daily environment of students. This research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach. Data taken in this research is test validation, students 'concept comprehension ability, students' mathematical literacy ability. The object of this research is the students of class VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Karanggeneng Lamongan. While the data collection techniques used are questionnaires and tests. The results of this study indicate the suitability between the implementation of learning with the learning plan that has been made, the percentage of validation tests of 85% with very good category and very well used, the percentage of students 'concept understanding of 75.60% with good category, students' mathematical literacy ability of 70.72% both divided into 3 aspects namely the percentage of students 'reasoning ability of 75.96% good category, the percentage of students' communication skills of 72.62% with good category, and the percentage of students problem solving ability of 63.57% with enough category. Thus, the Cooperative Script learning model and the Recitation method are used in classroom mathematics learning.
