Abstract

This study aims to describe the creativity of teachers in improving the quality of learning Islamic Religious Education and Character in SMAN 3 Malang. In order to achieve quality education is certainly required teachers to be more creative in delivering the material in the classroom. Creative teachers are those who are able to create new ideas or ideas that related to educational problems. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach and categorized as case study research. The subjects of this research are principals, teachers of Islamic Education and Character, and Muslim learners. Techniques of collecting ranging from observation, interview and documentation. Being the teacher of Islamic Education and Character, teacher is required to provide quality learning towards students. The results showed that the creativity of teachers in improving the quality of learning Islamic Religious Education and Character in SMAN 3 Malang in three categories: 1. Learning activities in the classroom; 2. Teachers learning method of Islamic Education and Character; 3. Efforts of teachers in improving quality of learning Islamic Religious Education and Character.
