Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of temperature difference to hatching rate of nile tilapia egg (Oreochromis niloticus) and to know the best temperature to hatching number of nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) optimally. The analytical method used is an experimental method with complete randomized design. The Completely Randomized Design used in this study consisted of 5 treatments with 3 repetitions each, so the number of experiments was 15 units of aquarium. Each aquarium unit contains 4 liters of water with each aquarium filled with 300 Tilapia fish eggs to observe. Each aquarium unit is given methylen blue which serves to prevent the spread of fungi in other eggs. Different treatments were made in the form of differences in water temperature used to observe the development of Nila fish eggs, ie 24 ° C, 26 ° C, 28 ° C, 30 ° C, and 32 ° C. Temperature checking is done every 2 hours. After the raw data obtained, the analysis of the effect of temperature difference on hatching number of Nila fish eggs is done by statistical analysis method that is by Anova Method. The results of this study indicate that: 1) ANOVA test results showed that the value of F arithmetic amounted to (7.576) and significance value of (0.004). This value is then compared with F table of 3.478 (see attached) and an alpha value of 0.050. The result of ANOVA test on the number of hatching eggs with different temperature treatments obtained F value count (7.576) more than the value of F table (3,478) or the significance value (0,004) less than alpha (0,050) showed that there was significant difference to the number of hatching eggs by treatment different temperatures. These results indicate that the temperature difference has a significant influence in determining the number and rate of hatching of Nila fish eggs; and 2) The best temperature for optimizing hatching number of Tilapia fish eggs is 30 ° Celsius, that is, the average number of hatching eggs is 181,000 eggs and the standard deviation of hatching eggs is 42,930 eggs.
