Abstract
This research took the title of “ANALYSIS OF MALL OLYMPIC GARDEN (MOG) ESTABLISHMENT IMPACT TO THE SOCIAL ECONOMIC COMMUNITY DISTRICTS IN KELURAHAN BARENG KLOJEN MALANG" Purpose of this research is to find out How SubDistrict unit growth in Klojen Bareng district Malang after the establishment of Mall Olympic Garden (MOG) and to find out How societyviews the economic conditions of income in SubDistrict unit of Klojen Malang, after Mall Olympic Garden (MOG) establishment. Analytical methods used to analyze the data in this study is to use a qualitative descriptive method and quantitative. From the research results can be summarized as follows, the small business unit has increased from year 2007 to domestic industries as much as 5 units, on 2008 increased to 9 units and in the year 2009 has increased again to 12 units. For restaurants / stalls in the year 2007 as many as 9 units, in the year 2008 increase to 14 units and in 2009 experienced a very significant improvement which increased 50% to 21 units. To trade in the year 2007 the number of traders of 11 units, year 2008 climbed to 13 units and in the year 2009 has increased again to 15 units. Therefore, it can mean that small business units experienced significant growth. In terms of Bareng district community income after the Mall Olympic Garden establishment is increase in the average Rp 178,571.00 Rp 988,095.24 become Rp 1166667. It is shows that the Mall Olympic Garden (MOG) has impact on the socioeconomic life of Bareng District community in Klojen Malang District.
