Abstract

Voltage regulation is an important part of mycro hydro power plant (PLTMH). A voltage control system on mycro hydro power plant by using a sychronous generator located on the excitation system. Supply dc current which is too low when the power rise on the load side causes voltage instability. Therefore required a control system that is considered to maintain the stability of the voltage. Previous research results only use one control to control Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR). In this study used two controllers to maintain the voltage stability of the generator, Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System PID (ANFIS-PID) as outer loop and PI as inner loop. The simulation results show that when a large consumer power change occurs the ANFIS-PID and PI controls are able to maintain the disturbance more faster 0.02 s than PID, ANFIS-PID, and PID-PI control technique.
