ANALISIS STRATEGI PERSEDIAAN PADA GENERAL STORE DI NOVOTEL SAMATOR HOTEL

The role of the general warehouse is very important in maintaining hotel operations. By implementing a strategy to maintain the quantity and quality of inventory, you can prevent the risk of incurring insignificant costs. This research was created to find out how the strategy was implemented at Novotel Samator. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The techniques used in data collection are interviews, observation and documentation. The interviews used were in-depth interviews and conducting observations with the participation of interns. The results of this research show that hotel inventory can be maintained because the hotel controls the flow of incoming and outgoing warehouse inventory, classifying goods and implementing the FIFO (first in first out) and FEFO (first expired first out) strategies used by the hotel.
