Abstract

One of the important functions of a control system is to adjust the speed of a DC motor. Method to set the speed of a DC motor, one of which uses the PID method and implements using NI-MyRio. The problem that happens is to set the design of DC motor using PID control method. Design PID control with LabVIEW and implement NI-MyRio. The use of PID control techniques for DC motors on spreadsheets produces good system response values such as raise time (tr) 0.148 seconds, peak time (tp) 0.308 seconds, settling time (ts) 0.371 seconds and can reach steady state at 1932.534673 RPM without overshoot .. The results of system calculations that have been done on LabVIEW will be compared with the results of calculations performed using the method Runge-Kutta order 2 on Spreadsheet.
