Abstract

In the modern a variety of new technologies continue to be created to help simplify human work. In the world of sea transport where monitoring can only be done at a distance, therefore a system on a ship or fishing vessel that can monitor the location, condition and circumstances of each where the ship is engaged in the sea so that in the event of an accident or other conditions facilitate the team evacuation knows where the ship is located. So far, the existing technology on fishing boats that operate is still no one to apply the sensors to find out the slope of the ship, if any so far still use manual methods such as pendulum to know the slope, as well as the detection of the height of the deck of the ship against the water surface and location based on GPS. In software designed to read the GPS data input, accelerometer sensor whose slope has accuracy of 1o and ultrasonic sensor then perform data processing for sending coordinate information and status information through serial communication, using TCM3105 modem.
