Abstract

Brassica juncea L is one type of vegetables favored by the people of Indonesia. It shows that from the social aspect, people have received the presence of mustard for daily consumption (Irwan, 2005). To improve the quality and quantity of mustard plants is to intensify agriculture that is the effort to increase the potential of plants to be able to produce high that is by Fertilization and maintain the soil by keeping the content of macro and micro nutrients in the soil. The purpose of this study was to determine the response of mustard plants to fertilization application of macro micro nutrient elements.This research was conducted in Claket Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency at 470 mdpl, and daily temperature between 21-30 ° C.The method used in this study was Randomized Block Design (RAK) which was arranged in a factorial consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications with 36 units of trials.The factors that consist of the first factor is the dosage of micro macro Hara fertilizer (D0: 0 (Control)), (D1: 8,5 g / plant mixed with 75g of urea fertilizer), (D2: 12,5 g / plant mixed with 75g of urea fertilizer), (D3: 16.5 g / plant mixed with 75g of urea fertilizer).And the second factor is plant spacing (J1: 20 x 20 cm), (J2: 20 x 25 cm), (J3: 25 x 25 cm), observed variables include: plant height increase, leaf number, wet weight of plant, dry weight of plants and water content of plants. Data analysis using F test to know the difference of each treatment, if there is a difference then proceed with 5% BNJ test. The results showed that the interaction of macro micro nutrient dosage with plant spacing had significant effect in all treatments and in all observations ranging from plant height, leaf number, wet weight, dry weight and water content of the plant had very real significance except on the weight of this dry weight , in because the mustard plant is 90% contain water and the water is already bound by the process of drying (oven).
