Abstract

Sidomuyo village becomes the central of flower production because it produces flowers in good quality, yet the profit gained by florists is not maximal. The florists previously applied offline marketing system whose most of buyers come from connection and not from public. Marketing media runs less maximal because of limited promotion system. One of the ways to overcome some offline marketing problems is by applying online marketing system. This research is aimed (1) to know the implementation of online marketing which is done by florists (2) to analyze increasing profit after applying online marketing (3) to know the influences after applying online marketing system on marketing range. Location determination is done purposively in Sidomulyo village, Batu City. Data analysis method used is cost analysis, admission analysis, revenue analysis, comparative One Way Anova analysis.The result of analysis shows that (1) online marketing system done by florists starts from creating website, booking acceptance, processing order and delivering order. (2) The average of florists’ profit before applying online marketing is 2.785.290,- rupiah/month, after applying online marketing is 8.046.000,- rupiah/month. The increase of profit after applying online marketing system is about 189%. Those data shows that there is escalation after applying online marketing system. (3) The influences of online marketing system are both positive and negative. The positive influences are marketing range becomes widespread and the numbers of selling increases, meanwhile negative influence is the quality of product sold through online marketing system decreases, because the flowers become wilted during delivery process so that the sellers must replace and resend new flowers.
