Abstract

Utilization of cattle dung waste as raw material to produce biogas as an effort to reduce the impact of environmental pollution in Kemiri Village, Jabung Sub-district. Due to the high contain of methan that around 65,7%, therefore dung waste is very potential to be processed as fuel for LPG substitution. Method that used for obtaining high methan substance is by fermenting anaerob with the help from mesopholic bactaeria, also with retention time around 20 days. Then obtained a form of model with 3 home that have 11 cows with total cow dung around 275 kg/day, TS quantity is 57,25 kg/days, VS is 52,35 kg/days, with total gas production is 11 m3/days, methan’s volume is 7,23 m3/day, using digester size 3600 liter with height 1,79 m and diameter 1,62 m also obtaining pressure is 3.388,08 kN/m2. 500 L volume of mixer with dimension specified, height is 1,2 m and diameter 0,8 m. The pulled strain of mixer axis is 0,039N/mm2 and torque axis is 6.951 Nm. In the gas distribution pipe, the material tension is occured and measured about 16,56 kN/m and from the dung pipe measured about 410 kN/m. Total head losses from pipe distribution is 1.5 m high.
