Abstract

The implementation of Pancasila value in school culture was done by giving the example of manner that reflects to Pancasila value, emphasizing discipline attitude toward student. In Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School Malang, teachers had already given the example of manner that reflects to Pancasila values, nevertheless, students still difficult to guide. This study was aimed to describe the implementation of Pancasila value in school culture, supporting and obstacle factors in the implementation of Pancasila values, and the solution to overcome the obstacle of the implementation of Pancasila values in Muhammadiyah 6 Elementary School Malang. Quantitative approach was used in this study as well as descriptive qualitative as the research design. The school principal, teacher and students in this school were used as research subject. Teacher and students was taken from the higher class until the lower class due to the deferent characteristic. Data collection method in this study used interview, observation, and documentation. Hence, there are three steps in analyzing the data in this study which were data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. Data validity checked technique used triangulation source and method. This study was conducted in March 13 until March 27 year of 2018. The result of this study showed that the implementation of Pancasila value in school culture had already shown from the culture of behavior, tradition, habitual activity and cultural symbol. The supporting factor from the implementation of Pancasila value came from the school principal, teachers, and school environment. The obstacle faced by the school was the different characteristic of the students and students’ habitual activity outside the school which was not quite good was brought to school. The school overcame the obstacle by giving students coaching, motivation and habituation.
