Abstract

Entering the era of competitive globalization, the role of education is very important as a means of improving human quality. The lesson about robotics has existed for a long time, but recently it has been popular in Indonesia for several years. Along its development, robotics technology has become one of educational media and games for elementary school students to the public as a venue to introduce robotics technology on the next generation of the nation from the beginning. the designed robot is an arduino-based line follower with PID controller. The line follower robot is controlled using button as the initial commands to run on the path as well as commands will be displayed on the lcd. Robot trajectory shaped island of Java with 10 points of the city. On the track there is a keypad button that represents every route and will show on dotmatrix led, in addition there are also LEDs at each point of the city that will light up according to the selected route. Robots are required to follow the path according to the route specified on the track by giving commands using the buttons on the robot.
