Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is one form of efforts to create a safe, healthy, environment free workplace from environmental pollution, so that it can protect and free from work accidents in the end can improve efficiency and work productivity. Formulation of the problem in this research are 1) How the implementation of work accident compensation in terms of Law No. 1 of 1970 on safety work? 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the work accident compensation process in terms of Law Number 1 Year 1970 regarding occupational safety? In this research using sociological juridical approach method. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The author uses a qualitative description analysis that describes or outlines the results of the research into an in-depth article on the issues studied. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of work accident compensation in terms of articles 12, 13 and 14 of Law Number 1 Year 1970 on occupational safety can be seen that if the occurrence of occupational accidents causing permanent disability then the company provides treatment to the healing process, giving compensation to the victim's family and provide salary to the employee during the healing period. When causing minor defects to provide treatment until healed, giving salary to employees during the healing period and conduct the process of inspection after the accident. When causing permanent disability and other minor injuries then the provision of compensation to the family during the healing period and provide security for employee health and hospitalization in the hospital then the company provides facilities for salary or wages during the healing process and provide compensation during the sick employees. Supporting factors in the work accident compensation process in terms of articles 12, 13 and 14 of Law Number 1 Year 1970 on work safety are 1) Own legal factors 2) Law enforcement factors CV. Indotriplek Kediri and 3) Facilities or facilities that support law enforcement.
