Abstract
Students have a problem yet in the settlement of the problem of students are still less be able to solve the problem.A student who taught less about solving problems well in controlling emotions and keagresifan then students will do a negative thing that can harm yourself or others. Basically students can solve problems in her well through finding and understanding the problem-solving strategies, devise, explore solutions, and think of a solution over time. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the traditional game against problem solving grade 3 Elementary Sabilul Khoir Islam. This research uses quasi experiment with this type of research design of nonrandomized control group pretest posttest design, research conducted in February 2018 at an Islamic Elementary School Sabilul Khoir with total sample 6 grade 3.The subject is divided into 2 groups, the control group not given the treatment and experimental group will be given a traditional game.Data analysed using the test of normality test and paired sample t-test. The results showed a significant problem solving ability in experiments with Group Sig value.(2-tailed) 0.006 which means less than 0.05 or (0.006 < 0.05), whereas in the control group did not occur a significant increase to the value of Sig.(2-tailed) 0.225 which means more than 0.05 or (0.225 > 0.05). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a traditional game of sodor gobak influence towards problem solving ability grade 3 Elementary School Islam Sabilul Khoir with age range 8-10 years. The results of this research are expected to serve as a reference and are applied in everyday life in the child's problem solving abilities.Teachers can apply game as traditional media in learning at the same time introduce and cultivate traditional game which is full of positive values to students.
