Abstract

Inclusive education is an education for students with special need, potency, and special talent. In the process of inclusive learning, there are three learning phases which are lesson planning, implementing, and evaluating. This study was aimed to investigate and describe (1) the implementation of learning process toward students with special need at an inclusive school of state elementary school Punten 01 Batu and (2) the obstacle and supporting factor of the students with special need learning implementation in inclusive school of State Elementary School of Punten 01, Batu. This study used qualitative research with describtive research. Data source in this study was the principal and special tutor handled students with special need in State Elementary School of Punten 01, Batu. This study was held on March 2018. Moreover, the method used in this study was classroom observation, interviewing special tutor and the principal as well as the documentation of the learning material. The result of this study showed that the learning process of students with special need in State Elementary School of Punten 01, Batu were only done in special class and accompanied by the special tutor. Design learning was done by teacher making an individual learning program for all the students. The implementation of teacher learning process had given the material appropriate with students need. On the evaluation phase, teacher evaluated the student with special need was based on their effort. The obstacle factors in students with special needs learning process were (1) teacher confused in determining media that they will used to deliver the materials (2) GPK was overwhelmed in conditioning the students and (3) teacher could evaluate each student. Meanwhile, the supporting factors in this study were (1) GPK was always involved in every workshop (2) students’ parent accompanied their children outside the class and (3) the evaluation was done by giving a task.
