Abstract

Load shedding security scheme in electrical systems has an important role in preventing blackout or total blackout. Load shedding or usually called the release of the load plays a role in anticipating the decrease in frequency at the plant in a state of operation so that the quality of service is maintained. In this research will discuss about load shedding scheme by using ANN. Using 12 input variables includes the number of shutdown synchronous generators, the frequency at which the system is interrupted, the load on the current system and the current and voltage charges. Simulation of data on Aritificial Neural Network (ANN) and will Single Line Diagram Pt.PLN Rengat area will be done on MATLAB software. The simulation result shows the improvement of the voltage at the kV measurement along with the frequency at some point of the disturbed area system.
