Abstract

Based on the observations made, the ability to write a description of class 2 MI Raden Fatah Ngusikan Jombang still low. So that there needs to be improvement efforts through the application of learning by gemrincing button technique. The purpose of this research is to know: (1) the implementation of buttoning technique in improving the ability to write description in class 2 MI Raden Fatah Ngusikan Jombang, (2) improvement of writing description capability using the technique of buttoning rings in class 2 MI Raden Fatah Ngusikan Jombang. This research use approach qualitative and classroom action research types. The data sources are 2nd grade students of Raden Fatah Ngajar academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 22 students. The research was conducted in August 2017-January 2018 in two phases, namely the pre-action stage and the action stage. Pre-action stage is done by taking the data of teacher learning result through observation and supported by interview, while the action stage is done by the researcher in two cycles, each cycle consist of 2 meetings. The results showed (1) the use of buttoning technique on writing material description in MI Raden Fatah Ngusikan Jombang make students active. This is indicated by the student's activity which reaches 88% with very good category, (2) The use of learning model of TPS and DRTA can improve student learning outcomes in Javanese language subjects. Average student learning outcomes in cycle I reached 67.4 with a 70% completeness level and on cycle II the average score reached 79.6 with 95% completeness level.
