Abstract

Canibo is media designed and presented with a concrete form. Canibo teaching media focusses on animal classification based on their foods. Canibo Media helps the teacher enhance learning proccessthat can improve students to masterthe material. The implentation of Canibo Media encourages the students to learn through their experience of exploringmedia. Canibo media is completed by teacher guide book which is provided as teacher guide in implementing Canibo media whether in groups or independenly. In addition, material exposure of animal classificationin teacher guide book can be used as a source. This research uses development model of Borg & Gall which consists 7 from 10 stages. The seventh stages comprise potentials and problems,data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, trial test,product revision. Trial test is conducted by doing pre-test and post-test on31 students of V-B at SDN Purwantoro II Malang. The result shows that Canibo media is suitableusedas learning support.It is proven by material expert validation which gains precentage score of 94%,100% by media expert validation, and 97% by teaching expert validation. While, the trial test on pre-test gains percentage of 34% and the post test gains percentage of 86%. So, it can be concluded that Canibo media is suitable used as teaching media on material of animal classification based on their foods.
