Abstract

Healthy Canteen is a program of Adiwiyata school. This program is held to realize healthy and environmentally friendly cafeteria service. Healthy cafeteria in its service menyadiakan food and beverage healthy, safe, and nourishing. However, in its implementation always encountered obstacles. Between planning and implementation of the field is often not the same. Therefore, this research has two problem formulation, which are: (1) How to implement healthy canteen of Adiwiyata program at Temas 01 State Elementary School Batu City? and (2) What are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of healthy canteen implementation of Adiwiyata program at Temas 01 State Elementary School Batu City?. The purpose of this research are: (1) To know the implementation of healthy canteen of Adiwiyata program at Temas 01 State Elementary School Batu City and (2) To know the supporting and inhibiting factors of Adiwiyata program at Temas 01 State Elementary School Batu City. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. Researchers describe the results of research in the form of words. The subjects used are school canteen and school parties involved in the implementation of healthy canteen. Sources of data obtained from interviewing techniques, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used by researchers is Mile and Huberman model. The results showed that: (1) The implementation of healthy canteen at Temas 01 State Elementary School Batu City is good enough starting from the provision of food that almost all healthy and safe to eat, canteen facilities and infrastructure that almost all qualified healthy canteens, in consuming healthy food for health and running school policy. Although all the requirements of healthy valve is almost fulfilled all, there are still obstacles faced by schools in the implementation of healthy canteen. So that inhibits the implementation of a healthy canteen. (2) Supporting factors and inhibiting factors of healthy canteen implementation is support obtained from cooperation between the school with outsiders such as community, parents, and the health department. As for the obstacles in this implementation is the lack of awareness of canteen officers in providing healthy and safe food services, limited facilities and infrastructure such as dining room, and the habits of students in consuming foods containing 5P is still difficult to remove.
