Abstract

The limit learning media which only a picture and ability of teacher to make a learning media made the speech method and task giving as the first choise in learning process. The use of the media to improve students achievement and to improve the quality of learning in accordance with the purpose of education. Lack of intructional media in the classroom to make students less active. Based on the result of the analysis of the needs of primary school, tajes a learning medium used for learning work effectively. The researchers to develop a learning product Tongue Electric Taste media and media to determine the feasibility of the product through some expert validation and product testing. This research is R & D (Research and Development) research design, which uses the development model of Borg and Gall. As for the steps of development is the ability and problem, data collection, product design, design validation, design correction, product experiment, product revision, using experiment, the lalst product revision, and massive production. The development of product in this case, is only done till the eight step, that is using experiment. The result research in validation stage of learning media expert shows that Tongue Electric Taste learning media design is very valid. The result which is received from the material expert shows the validity with the percentage of 80 %, media expert of 88,8% while the result which is received from the Science expert of Elementary Schooll shows the validity with the percentage of 94 %. In addition, the result of product experiment of small group toward 12 students in Second grade of Madrasah IbtidaiyahSunanGiri-Lowokwaru-Malang has positive response with the percentage of 87,5 %. While the experiment of large group toward 42 students in second grade of Dinoyo 3 Elementary School Malang has the percentage of 91,4 %. Based on the whole results, it is concluded that Tongue Electric Taste media of Science can be used for learning media in teaching Science to the Second grade ofElementary School.
