"Conflict and Consensus in the Political Constellation of Yogyakarta Palace (Sociology Literature Review Dasamuka Novel by Junaedi Setiyono)" is a study of the conflict and political consensus which occurred in the constellation of the Yogyakarta Palace. This study aims to find the form of political conflict and consensus on Dasamuka novel by Junaedi Setiyono, as well as to know how the attitude of Javanese compromise which is represented in Dasamuka novel by Junaedi Setiyono. The approach used in this research is qualitative approach with description analysis method. Data and data sources of this research is Dasamuka novel by Junaedi Setiyono. The form of data on the research in the form of story units related to research problems. This study uses text analysis in data collection and the researchers themselves act as research instruments. The data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. Checking of data in this research is observational persistence, triagulation, and referral adequacy. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded (1) The political conflict in Dasamuka's novel by Junaedi Setiyono consists of internal conflicts and external conflicts. Internal conflict is a political conflict that occurs within the Yogyakarta Palace, while the external conflict is the political conflict of the Yogyakarta Palace outside the Keraton Yogyakarta. The internal conflict in Yogyakarta Palace marked by the weakness of the role of the political elite in leading the palace. External conflicts isn more likely to the colonial government who participate mengkukuh atmosphere politics palace. (2) The political consensus contained in Dasamuka's novel by Junaedi Setiyono consists of law enforcement and consensus deliberation. (3) The compromise nature of Java which is represented in Dasamuka’s novel by Junaedi Setiyono is a Javanese middle-way attitude toward conflict and political consensus. Considerations of the Javanese’s compromise nature can be based on non material consederations or religius.
