Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of curriculum of 2013 Islamic Religious Subjects and Character to children with special needs in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Malang in terms of lesson planning, learning process and learning evaluation. This study uses a qualitative approach with the subject of curriculum head, subject of Islamic Education and Character subjects and students with special needs. The selection of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Malang as a research setting is based on the fact that the school uses the 2013 curriculum and accepts the students of ABK, and the students of ABK participate in the learning of Islamic Education and Character. Data collection is done through observation, interview and documentation. While data analysis using qualitative data analysis model. The type of this research is case study. The results showed that the learning of Islamic Religious Education and Character to the students in the classroom ABK generally in common with normal learners, but specifically there is a distinguish between students ABK with normal learners. First, the students of ABK are given the authority to follow the learning in the classroom or not. ABK students who do not follow the learning in the classroom will get guidance in the special room of ABK. Second, evaluation of the students of ABK there are 2 kinds of assessment that is, regular assessment and special assessment. The last of the researchers is the means of infrastructure that is used to support the learning of all students ABK has been feasible and fulfilled so that the learning process run smoothly.
