Abstract

The monitoring system is a systematic effort to define a standard performance in design planning an information feedback system, to compare actual performance with predetermined standards, to determine whether a deviation has occurred, and to take corrective action to meet informative data. This study applied monitoring system of android integrated to shrimp ponds. The purpose of this research is to monitor water quality in shrimp ponds. Therefore, it will be broad explanation about the level of water quality based on temperature, oxygen levels, and turbidity. The design of the monitoring system was done by integrating the sensor measurement data into the Raspberry PI to connect to the database. Database created using MySQL. The results of the measurements showed in android apps. Measurement was done in each 1-second real time. Evaluation of the performance of the monitoring system built has been done. Test result has been shown that the built system has worked well. The built monitoring system has good accuracy and is able to detect the state of changing conditions, with a very small percentage error of <15%.
