Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of active compounds and characteristics of secondary metabolite products of biodegradation agents (fermented starter) based on lignochloritic bacteria. The research used experimental method with phytochemical testing, thin layer chromatography, and identification characteristics of secondary metabolite compounds produced by Lignochloritic bacteria culture using TLC Scanner. The independent variables in this research are fermentation time and dependent variable identification of active compound, secondary metabolite, and characteristic of active compound. Data collection was done every 3rd day, 6th, 9th, 12th and 15th day. The treatment of the research was fermentation time duration, while the replication in this research was only based on the independent variable and the dependent variable. Data analysis method used descriptive qualitative and quantitative with reference to data of research result. The result of the research by showing phytochemical test showed that there are terpenoid active compound with triterpenoid type in the sample. On identification of secondary metabolite compounds using TLC Scanner shows there are six types of compounds that are potential to be produced at any given time.
