Abstract

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is a security device that has been widely used among the community, this is evolving along with the development of existing technology. However, Monitor screen for security control is less practical, because there must be an operator to monitor it. This is the basic of research to design and create a CCTV system that can be controlled and supervised anywhere by utilizing applications on android. CCTV can also work automatically when home occupants are out. Motor Servo used for activate the CCTV,so the CCTV can be roatated automatically .Automatic Human recognition process is using Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) method, where the camera will continuously capture the image. The image would be processed perframe, when humans are detected it will be marked with Bounding Box (rectangle). For android applications there are some commands to control the CCTV. The commands used for activate the cctv,so cctv can move to the right, left, down, and up, or automatic mode where CCTV will move automatically when human are detected. Wifi network used for the communication between smarthphone application with microcontroller. Raspberry Pi used as microcontroller. Evaluation and completed testing show that the application works well. CCTV can be controlled , and CCTV cameras can detect people if its full body.
