Abstract

This study aims to determine the qualitative and quantitative impact of cluster interventions on dairy farmers in Ngantang District, Malang Regency, East Java Province. The dynamics of the development of dairy industry clusters are analyzed through the forces that exist in each cluster elements, namely the raw material suppliers of milk, the core industry, the related industries, supporting industries, buyers and supporting institutions. The correspondents used in this study include cluster management, stakeholder clusters, clusters and non-perpetrators of dairy cow clusters in Ngantang District, Malang Regency. The tool used in this research is questionnaire. The research method used this time is by using primary and secondary data. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of this study show that the highest impact of management assessment is the level of comfort of members joining clusters and increasing productivity with a score of 3.7 (scale 4) which means big influence. The highest rating indicator of the Stakeholders is the benefit for those with level 4 which means very large. In the cluster cluster the smallest indicator of influence is the product innovation with the score of 1.0 rest gives the impact of medium and large. Assessment on the highest non-performing cluster indicator is at the comfort of the community around the cluster with a score of 4.0. As many as 51% of total respondent farmers are 35 breeders productivity of dairy cows is 10-14 liters / cow / day, 46% productivity 15-18 liters / cow / day and the rest is 3% high productivity over 19 liters / cow / day . The price of milk dairy cattle at the level of breeders in the area of ngantang is Rp. 5,000 - Rp 5,350.
