Abstract

Guava fruit contains the number of vitamins and fiber. It is suitable to be consumed in maintaining health. Therefore, the system of guava ripeness detection is updated. The main purpose of this system is to give an ease to people who do not really know about the ripeness of guava fruit so, people need an application that can give any information about the fruit condition in the ripe, half cooked or raw. This application is made based on Android so that people can easily use this application anywhere and anytime with their mobile phone. The detection application using xc naïve Bayes classification method by utilizing digital citra technology. The process of using detection application is taking a picture of guava fruit using a camera phone and upload it to the application so that guava fruit can be distinguished in the ripe, half cooked or raw condition. Accuracy in making guava fruit ripeness application using naïve Bayes method by utilizing digital citra technology gain testing in test data that digital citra and naïve Bayes method can give the result of information of citra similarity distance with accuracy 90% and recall 80%, in the calculation of accuracy using the calculation of confusion matrix as much as 30 times experiment. The testing that has been done by the application going well both functionally system and can produce the expected output.
