Abstract

Design solution for Technology for Child, the Fun With Art application is a technology that can be utilized by caregivers as a platform for children to enhance their motor skills and explore various arts through the provided features. This research focuses on designing the user interface of the Fun With Art application to meet the needs of the persona, namely caregivers working in childcare facilities. The emphasis is on activities such as drawing and coloring simple and recognizable shapes, creating batik patterns or designs, and learning the techniques of crafting various origami. The research methodology employed is UX Journey, involving stages such as determining persona needs, application design, A/B Testing, and testing design solutions using Acceptance Criteria with caregivers as the sample persona.Data analysis techniques include interviews to uncover needs and collect feedback from caregivers using the application. The research outcome is the design solution for the Fun With Art application, featuring drawing and coloring simple and recognizable shapes, creating batik patterns or designs, and displaying origami-making techniques. This application serves as a medium to train motor skills and explore various simple and recognizable shapes, batik patterns, and origami designs. It is anticipated that this research will result in a design solution for the Fun With Art application that provides a satisfying user experience by meeting user needs.
