Abstract

Bank Indonesia published the Rule of Bank Indonesia No. 13/1/PBI/2011 about the exchange of Bank Health level assessment to be RGEC is the risk-oriented and the implementation of good corporate governance, profile ability, and capital adequacy. This research is conducted to know the financial performance of BNI by using RGEC method (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital). The research is using descriptive research with quantitative approach. The analysis used is calculated risk profile that consists of credit and liquidity risk, good corporate governance, earning use return on assets ratio and capital ratio. The results showed the level of performance of PT. BNI, Tbk in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 are in the composite of 2nd rating which indicates the general condition of the bank is healthy so that it is considered capable of facing significant negative effects from changes in business condition and other external factors. If it is seen in more detail it is known that measure risk profile using the NPL ratio is ranked of 2nd which is stated generally healthy and the ratio of LDR in the 3rd rank is stated quite healthy. Good corporate governance (GCG) is ranked 2nd which is stated healthy, earned as measured by ROA ratio is ranked 1st which considered very healthy and capital measured using the ratio of CAR is in the 1st rank which declared very healthy.
