Abstract

Black jelly grass is used for raw materials for the preparation of food and beverages. This plant contains antioxidants that can counteract free radicals. Black jelly plants are generally reproduced vegetative by cultivate cutting. Fertilization through leaf is expected to support for optimal plant growth. With the use of various kinds of lea and fertilizer concentrations, it is expected to know which leaf fertilizer and with the concentration of how much that matches the black jelly plants and can produce a good growth of black jelly plant. This researcher use Group Design Random Completely “Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT)”. Type of Orthogonal Contrast is arranged factorial with 2 factors treatments, first factor are types of leaf fertilizer: K1= Gandasil D, K2= Growmore, and K3= Hyponex, at the same time second factors are concentrations of fertilizer: of D1= 1 g/liter, D2= 1,5 g/liter, D3= 2 g/liter, D4= 2,5 g/liter. Variable of the research involves: number of leaves, number of bud, number of roots, length root, chlorophyll contains, gross weight root, gross weight tree trunk, gross weight leaf, and gross weight total plants, dry weight eyes of sun root, dry weight eyes of sun trunk, dry weight eyes of sun leaf , dry weight eyes of sun total plants, dry weight of oven root, dry weight of oven trunk, dry weight of oven leaf, dry weight of oven total plants and this is containing antioxidant. Research analysis data use F test on 1% and 5% for to know the result research treatments. And BNJ test 5% for testing effects between treatments. The result of the research show interaction between types of leaf fertilizer and that concentration did not give effects for number of leaves in almost all observation variables, except for number of 84 HST and chlorophyll contains 30 and 73 HST. Analyzing antioxidant compound shows that have 24 compounds potentially as antioxidant in Black jelly grass.
