Abstract

Face recognition is one of the most popular biometric introductions. Technology face recognition is growing rapidly as the times. Various methods are proposed to create a reliable face recognition system. Face recognition is used various things such as surveillance, search for missing persons, home security and visual impairment. Through face recognition someone can recognize who the person is. In its own application face recognition uses a camera to capture a person's face and then compared to a face that has previously been stored in a particular database. In this design use raspberry pi as a program pengolah face recognition. On raspberry resource pi use powerbank with 5V / 2A teganagan. In this final project paper offers Eigenface and viola jones method using webcam to capture images in real-time. For face detection using viola jones method while for face recognition using eigenface method. Viola jones method serves to accelerate face detection. Eigenface method serves to calculate the eigenvalue and eigenvector to be used as a feature in the introduction. Euclidean distance method is used to find the distance with the data features that have been obtained, and the smallest distance is the result. For the results of the results of face recognition will output voice.
