Abstract

Forests have various functions of even one of these is the hydrological function is very important in maintaining the area of water resource, maintain water supplies and maintain the availability of water. This research examines the impact caused by the former forest fires that occurred in the block putuk limas on 2012 against hydrological function especially regarding the ability to land in absorb water (an infiltration), so that in this research took the formulation of the problem is how the level of an infiltration on variety of vegetation in the former area forest fires in Tahura R. Soerjo . The purpose of this research is to know the rate of an infiltration on a variety of vegetation in the former area forest fires in Tahura R. Soerjo. The place of this research done in the area of TAHURA R. Soerjo blocks Putuk Limas which administratively located in the area Prigen of Pasuruan Regency of East Java and conducted on 28 December 2017 until 29 January 2018.. The determination of the plot in this research done by purposive sampling. The measurement of the rate of an infiltration is done with double ring infiltrometer method. The measurement of the physical characteristics of the land with use taking of sampling the land and the measurement of the density of vegetation in a way to count the number of vegetation in the measuring plot. An infiltration rate relationship with other factors regression analysis done. Based on the results of analysts obtained an infiltration rate on various vegetation in each measuring plot. On the first measurement plot with vegetation Cemara Gunung its infiltration rate is 27.2 cm/hour (very quickly). on the second plot with vegetation Cemara Gunung and Casia have an infiltration rate 25.06 cm/hour (quickly). on the third plot with vegetation Cemara Gunung have an infiltration Rate 16.2 cm/hour (quickly). on the fourth plot without vegetation have an infiltration rate 20.8 cm/hour (quickly) and on the fifth plot with vegetation Gmelina and Tutup has an infiltration rate 28.3 cm/hour (very quickly). Based on the results of the regression analysis there are 3 similarities that affect the rate of an infiltration is the density of vegetation with equation y = x + 12.993 -9 0.59R² = 0.2407. Organic matter with equation y = x + 1.7733 4.1817R² = 0.8391 and the structure of the land with the equation y = x + 43.59 -8.3633R² = 0.8391. Based on all of the data concluded that an infiltration rate on each of the vegetation in each measuring plot different. The difference infiltarsi rate influenced by the factor structure of the land, factors organic matter and factors density of vegetation.
