Abstract

Meniran (Phyllanthus Niruri L.) is a type herbaceous plant that contains triterpenoid compounds, flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids and phenolic acids. In general the utilization of these plants used as traditional medicines, antiviral and antibacterial. The presence of the content of flavonoid and triterpenoid can be used as a new alternative to antifungal fusarium oxysporum fungus. This fungus is a type of pathogenic fungus that attacks plants such as cayenne pepper, tomatoes and dragon fruit. Its presence cause wilt disease by using chemical pesticides can threaten the soil ecosystem and cause pollution to the soil. The purpose of this study was determine the effect of meniran leaf extract (Phyllanthus niruri L.) on the Fusarium oxysporum inhibitory zone in vitro. The type of research used was true experimental research with factorial design research design. The design of the study was completely randomized design 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, negative control and positive control (nystatin) with 3 days curing time, data analysis technique using ANOVA 1 road and Duncan Test. The results showed the effect of concentration of meniran leaf extract on Fusarium oxysporum inhibition zone. Average diameters formed ie 0,825 mm; 1.275mm; 1.9mm; control (-) 0mm; and control (+) 3.05 mm. the results of this study can be used as a source of bioloy study of high school class X at K.D 4.6 presents data of observations of the caracteristics and role of fungi in life in the form of written reports.
