Abstract

Based on the result of need analysis on November 08 of 2017 it is found that in learning at SDLB Purworejo II, Wironini, Pasuruan City teachers are still fixated on modules used, often using media such as image cards, posters, puzzles and have not made interactiveVideo-based learning media in which there is combination of pictures and sound so that the development of video learning media is necessary. This study aims to find out: (1) the development of interactive tale video learning (cultural and art) media on minor mentally disabled students at SDLB Purworejo II, Wironini, Pasuruan, and(2) the validity of tale video learning media of cultural and art for minor mentally disabled students at SDLB Purworejo II, Wironini, Pasuruan. This research is type of development research with ADDIE model. As the object of development, the researcher chooses minor mentally disabled students in V-C class at SDLB Purworejo II, Wironini, Pasuruan City of 2017/2018 amounted to 10 students. This research is conducted in April 2018 in two ways, first method is with no action (before using video media) and the second is by action (after using video media). This research is done through five stages, they are analysis phase, design stage or design, development stage or product making, implementation phase done directly in class, and evaluation stage to make necessary improvements. The result of this research shows that tale video media of cultural and art is valid through several stages of validation by experts, respondents or classroom teachers and the result of mentally disable students evaluation,byfollowing details: (1) from final result of validation questionnaire, it is obtained 98.8% for material quality and 81.8%for linguistic quality,(2) from final result of media validation questionnaire, it is obtained 89% for instructional media quality and 90% for media guide quality, (3) from the result of respondents questionnaires by classroom teachers, it isobtained 90% for instructional mediaquality and 93% for media guide quality, (4) from the final result of 10 mentally disabled students evaluation, score B often appears from 4 mentally disabled students which means the media is valid. From the result of this research, interactive tale video learning media of cultural and art is recommended to be used in minor mentally disables students learningat SDLB, as well as reference for developing this learning media for other students with special needs or other materials that can support learning succes.
