Abstract

Javanese Language Learning in Mojolangu 1 Elementary School and Torongrejo 01 Elementary School has not gone according to PAIKEM principle as it is written in Pergub Jatim No 19 of 2014, therefore, there should be an alternative to achieve learning by following that principle through the development of van java circuit media. This research aims to 1) develop the product of van java circuit media to javanese language learning of fourth elementary grade, 2) know the validity and effectiveness of van java circuit media in learning, and 3) know students response to van java circuit media. This research is the type of development study by using ADDIE model whose procedure includes analyzing, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating. The subjects of this research are fourth elementary graders at Mojolangu 1 Elementary School and Torongrejo 01 Elementary School, the validity expert of material and media and fourth grade teacher as the respondent. The data collecting technique used in this research is questionnaire in scale 1-4 and test to know validity and media appropriateness and also students response to van java cicuit media with descriptive qualitative and quantitative analyzing technique. Based on the research result, 1) the development on van java circuit media is done through analyzing, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating (ADDIE) procedure, 2) the result of validity from material expert is 92,85%, before revision, 98,21% after revision, from media expert is 83,82% before revision and 97,05% after revision, while the media effectiveness seen from fourth elementary graders evaluating result at Mojolangu 1 Elementary School is 92,6 and fourth elementary graders at Torongrejo 01 Elementary School is 89,2. 3) the students’ response to van java media circuit based on the questionnaire answers from fourth graders at Mojolangu 1 Elementary School is 92,2%, while from fourth graders at Torongrejo 01 Elementary School is 93,93% with description that student response to media is positive.
