Abstract

Slow learner has limitations in dealing concepts that are abstract and symbolic, with the result that difficulties experience is counting (sum). One of the technique to improve the ability of counting operations (sum) who slow learner by using Montessori media the stamp game method which provides learning method using concrete/real media and has concept to teach count operation (sum). The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of counting operations (sum) in elementary school students who are slow learner by using Montessori media the stamp game method. The kind of this research is single case experimental design. The subject in this research is 3 children in 2nd grade of Elementary School that have slow learner selected using purposive sampling technique. The results of the research show that Montessori media the stamp game method can improve a counting (sum) in elementary school students who are slow learner.
