Abstract

The use of fertilizers in Indonesia continues to increase in line with the increase of agricultural area, population growth, and the increasingly diverse use of fertilizer as an effort to increase agricultural products. Efforts that can be done to increase the production of vegetable crops one of them with the provision of fertilizer. Fertilization is done in order to meet the nutrient needs for plants, so it can give high yield (Manullang, 2014). The experiment was conducted in February 2017 until April 2017. The experiment was conducted using Group Random Design (Randomized Block Design) which was arranged based on Factorial Random Design, The first factor as the main plot is the type of fertilizer (J) consisting of three levels namely Phonska fertilizer, Mutiara fertilizer and Cipemap Fertilizer, and the second factor as sub-plot of compound fertilizer (D) comprising four levels, this is without treatment (control), 1.42g / plant, 1.77 g / plant, 2.13 g / plant. Samples of each treatment of three plants and repeated three times. Observational variables included: plant height (cm), number of leaves (leaf), leaf area (cm2), wet harvest weight (g) Data were analyzed gradually in accordance with the objectives in the study, using F-test and 5% Duncan test. Based on the analysis of variance, showed response type of fertilizer and fertilizer dose comparison had no significant effect on growth and yield of lettuce plant. It is suspected because each type of fertilizer has a different response according to the content of fertilizer and dose respectively. The type of fertilizer that shows good growth is the type of fertilizer cipmape. In the dose ratio that gives a good effect on the growth and yield of lettuce crop is a comparison of dose cipmape 2.13 g / plant.
