Abstract

The one of the factors causing the decline of tomato plant production is caused by the disturbance of plant desease so that it can cause crop failure and decreasing the amount of tomato production. Fusarium oxysporum is one of the important pests in tomato plants. information obtained from the latest research there are cultural differences, morphology between Fusarium oxysporum isolated in different agroclimate areas. Therefore, it is necessary to characterize the morphology of Fusarium oxysporum isolates that are specific based on the height of the place, especially the highlands.The purpose of this research is to test and to know the characteristic of Fusarium oyxsporum fungi isolate from lowland. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL). Soil type 1100, Root 1200, 1100 stems and 1100 m of plates on four growth media types, Oatmeal Agar (OA) media, Czapek Dox Agar (CDA) media, Cook Rose Bengal Agar (CRBA) media and media Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA). Based on the resulted of research, characteristic of Fusarium oxysporum isolate f.sp. lycopersici of lowland which have been tested on various growth media type that is isolate type treatment have real effect on medium CDA media 3, 6, 9 days, isolate also have real effect on CRBA media age 3 and 6 days to growth diameter of Fusarium oxysporum isolate f.sp . lycopersici. Treatment of isolate type had significant effect on medium OA media of 3, 6, 9 days isolate also had significant effect on CDA medium media 3 and 6 days on Fusarium oxysporum isolate thickness f.sp. lycopersici. The isolate type treatment had significant effect on OA, CDA, CRBA, and PDA media against sporulation of Fusarium oxysporum isolate f.sp. lycopersici. Land Isolate 1100 m asl, 1100 m asl stem, and isolate 1100 m asl have white cotton color in all growing medium OA, CDA, CRBA, and PDA. While root isolate 1200 white with purple edge on OA and CRBA media, White colored cotton on CDA media, pink on PDA media. Isolate Root 1200 m asl and Soil 1100 m asl have microspore shape with size ± 6-15 μm, while isolate stem 1100 m asl and Leaf 1100 m asl obtained macrospora shape with size ± 25-33 μm.
