Abstract
Increased acreage of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) in Indonesia is very high. In 2012 an increase in acreage of cocoa into 1,774,464 ha and at the end of 2013 into an area of 1,852,943 ha (CBS, 2013). This needs to be addressed by the provision of the cocoa seed that cocoa productivity can be improved. Data from (Directorate General of Plantation, 2011) produksivitas Indonesian cocoa is relatively low, namely the average new mancapai 532,17kg / ha, whereas the Ivory Coast has reached 1.5 tons / ha. Nurseries an initial growth phase of a plant before entering the generative and productive phase. One fertilizer that is currently widely used in plant breeding is vermicompost fertilizer. Vermicompost fertilizer or so-called vermicompost manure produced by a former maintenance cacaing (Purbadkk, 2014). Availability of nutrients is so much work was supported by soil microorganisms, one of the efforts to improve performance with the addition of soil microorganisms are terralyt-plus. Terralyt-plus is an electrolyte that serves as pembenah soil texture of the soil and soil microorganisms multiply the work. Based on the above description need to be tested with the addition of vermicompost fertilizer application terralyt-plus at plant nurseries cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.). The research was conducted in screen house the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, University of Muhammadiyah Malang with ketinggiant four 560 meters above sea level, which was conducted over three months, starting on January 19, 2017 until April 2017. bulan20 This study aims to mempelejari application of vermicompost and terralyt Award-plus to the growth of the seeds of cacao (Theobroma cacao L.). Design used in this research is RAKF (factorial randomized block design) with two factors. The first factor doses of vermicompost consists of three levels ie doses of vermicompost fertilizer 0 grams, 200 grams and 400 grams. The second factor is the addition terralyt-plus 0 ml, 40 ml and 60 ml respectively repeated 3 times. Variables observed consisted of accretion plant height, stem diameter increase, in the number of leaves,These results indicate that the interaction of the vermicompost fertilizer by administration terralyt-plussignificant effect on the number of leaves and total leaf area. While on plant height, stem diameter and chlorophyll amount is not significant. Namunpada 5 weeks after planting to 11 weeks after planting the plant height increment parameter indicates significantly different in treatment dosages of 400 grams / plant.
