Abstract

Mustard green is seasonal plant that is easy to cultivate. Mustard green consumed by society. According to Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia (2010), Java is the most contributing region in producing mustard green in Indonesia than other regions. Total production of mustard green in Indonesia, average contribution of Java is 55,86% from total production. The most important factor in supporting cultivation for plant is fertilization. This study was conducted in Green House Land Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Jl. Notojoyo no. 3 Tegal Gondo, Malang, East Java. This experiment used randomly group design arranged in factorial with 2 factors. The first factor is MOL (Local Microorganism) (K) consists of K1 = MOL 100 ml/L water; K2 = MOL 120 ml /L water. Meanwhile, the second factor is MOL dosage (D), consists of D1 = 7,5 ml/plant; D2 = 10 ml/plant; D3 = 12,5 ml/plant, repeated 4 times. Observation parameter from this experiment includes: 1). Plant height, 2) number of leaves, 3) dry weight, and 4) wet weight. Quantitative data is analyzed using variation analysis. If it shows significant influence, it is continued with BNJ test 5%. Quantitative data analysis used SAS version 9.2. Result of this experiment shows that there is no interaction between giving variation of dosage and concentration of Local Microorganism. Dosage of Local Microorganism banana hump has no significant influence toward mustard green.
