Abstract

Hollow plate or well-known as Hollow Core Slab (HCS) is one of the breakthrough precast systems which the plate will replace the conventional plate system that could be an alternative solution to reduce costs and time in construction projects. The aim of this paper is to provide different planning options with conventional systems in general. This writing purposes to plan a reinforced concrete structure system by combining HCS as a plate. The result of this planning, with prestressed wire aggregate of 18 diameters 9 mm is able to withstand the dead load and the building load of 5.79 kN. The design of HCS with dimensions of cross section thickness = 150 mm, cross section width of 1200 mm and hole diameter = 90 mm is 8 pieces, with a length of 6 m plate span, topping thickness of the hollow core plate plan taken 50 mm still fulfilling the permit voltage both at transfer, installation or service (service load). Where as in the main structure, beams and columns are planned with the main reinforcement D22 with different cross-sectional sizes. The main section of the column is 700/800 mm while the main beam is 600/900. As a lateral force restraint (seismic load) in the main portal system, a shear wall system with vertical flexural reinforcement D13 - 150 and horizontal reinforcement Ø12-250 are used.
