Abstract

Companies that categorized as small industries are face many difficulties to keep survive or to develop it. The subject of this study is central small industry of brass with the commodity as follows: water crane, door handle, etc. The approach of CSSF (Contingent Strategic Success Formula) is purposed to analyze the formula of success strategy by combining the internal and external conditions of the company. The ways to do are by measuring, estimating and predicting the environment condition of the company in the present and future. The AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) used to choice the best formula as the result from CSSF approach to develop the company. The result of this study is shown in 3 cases. First, the variables that influent the industries are 34 variables as shown in chapter IV. Second, there are 3 cluster of industry; those are cluster I lack of success companies, cluster II success companies and cluster III very success companies. Third, to get more success in the future, the company needs to fulfill the optimal internal condition that suitable with the level of turbulence, aggressiveness and responsiveness. It is better for the company to apply the 3 of marketing points, those are: to develop the positioning of their products in the specific SBA, create the strong differences and mark equity.
