Abstract

The rapid advancement of education in Indonesia in the prove with of the 72% early childhood in Indonesia has blasted education. The level of education that progress will be the study material which will enhace the ability of students to think creatively and independenly. The purpose of this researc is to know the differences on esch microscopic structure and xylem vascullar tissue on the roots and stems between Singa and Hypoma I varieties. The purpose is to discover the variability of different varieties on the same type of crop. This research is a decriptive research. It is done by 2 smears, temporary smear and permanent smeart. The temporary smear is made in order to analize the roots and the stems of Singa and Hypoma varieties in their fresh state using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The permanent smear is made to distinguish the diameter of Singa and Hypoma I varieties roots and stems using maceration method. The result of this reseach is going to be used as a biology learning source. The result of this reseach shows that there are differences on the microscopis structure of their xylem vascullar tissue (trachea and tracheid) in which the trachea scondary wall thickening types and the xylem diamete differences on each variety are visible. Those differences signify the variability differences on each variety. The result of this study is able to be usedas a biology learning source in the form of booklet.
