In medical sector, knowing temperature of body and number of heartbeat is important to indicate the condition of our body whether it’s normal or get sick. So it can be taken preventive action. Nowadays, to measure temperature of body and number of heartbeat have a lot of already been sold in the market, they are digital thermometer and the gauge device of digital heartbeat. Although that devices are still hard to be used by blind sufferer, to help it easy for them self, it is needed engineering a device which can measure temperature of body and heartbeat for blind sufferer. The methode that is used to do measurement of temperature by use censorof LM35 which has scale factor 10 mV/OC. The result that is measured, then converted into the form of digital by ADC 0804. While the measurement of number of heartbeat by using photoresistor light censor (LDR). The heartbeat of patient can be detected through radiation by the source of light at patient’s finger. When the heart gets contraction, blood circulation will be pumped to whole the body, included to fingers. The blood will color more solid when the heart get contraction. This thing will decrease the intensity of light that is accepted by photoresistor. That change of light intensity detected becomes the change of heartbeat signal. Then, by microcontroller AT89S51, that change of signal is accounted during 60 minutes becomes the number of heartbeat per minute. Finally, the result of heartbeat measurement and temperature of body are appeared in form of text in LCD, in form of voice at ISD 1420 and the data is saved in external memory EEPROM 28C64. From the result that is achieved, approximately the presentation of device mistake that has already been made, it is compared by using thermometer and stethoscope is approximately 2,73 % to measurement of temperature of body and 2,61 % to heartbeat measurement.
