Abstract

The result of observation and interview on class V SDN Sukosewu 3 Blitar obtained data that learners study results in subjects of the human digestive system of material science. This is because educators using only textbook in learning in the classroom, so the learner difficulties in understanding the nature of the material abstract. It affects the learners to become passive and less excited in following the process of learning. In addition, the material of the human digestive system is considered quite difficult for students resulting in the delivery of the material required appropriate learning media namely media smart round of the digestive system. Media smart rounds the digestive system was developed with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). In the analysis stage aims to obtain information that will be used as a basis for writer in conducting research. At design stage there are several activities that will be carried out are the preparation of research plans that include determining the development goals. Then, at the stage of development held in 2 stages of making media smart rounds and validation stage by the expert. The implementation stage is the stage in order to implement or test the media smart rounds has arranged to subjects to be studied. The results of media smart rounds experiments conducted by the researcher in grade V SDN Sukosewu Blitar that have been given to the students reached 94%. It shows that the media smart rounds is interesting to use by students in learning process at class and the response of teachers reached 94%, then shows the effective learning media used in learning . In addition, the result of the calculation of the percentage of validity level done through questionnaires that have been given by the material expert reaches 83% and the teaching materials expert reaches 92%, it indicates that the media smart rounds is suitable for the learning process. The results of the average percentage of students reached 80, then shows that media smart rounds are used as media of instruction.
