Abstract

Based on observations and interviews at SDN Turen 04 Class 2 thematic textbooks are often late in arriving, which hampers learning in schools, Student Worksheets (LKS) originating from publishers are also not in accordance with the learning objectives set by the government. Subjects that are more emphasized in school are Mathematics, however, the teacher uses only one method to solve mathematical problems, such conditions that make students become less creative in thinking. A suitable development in this problem is to create an open ended Mathematics Worksheet which is equipped with more than one correct solution. This study aims to make students more creative and innovative in solving mathematical problems. The research conducted in May 2018 and open ended LKS was developed using five stages of ADDIE development models namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The results of an open ended worksheet development research (1) product development using the ADDIE model; (2) the average result of validity from all aspects is 93% with valid or feasible criteria. Therefore, open ended mathematics based worksheets are very effective to be used as a complement to learning in schools. LKS development is expected to achieve learning goals and improve students' creativity in solving mathematical problems
