Abstract

Mathematics is one of the lessons understood class 1 learner of SDN Girimoyo 2 Malang, especially in mathematics learning about addition and subtraction. This case is happened because the monotonous learning and the way teacher the students are not interesting. The teacher does not use media or tools to deliver the knowledge in teaching and learning process. Thus, the teaching and learning process seems boring and monotonous. The purpose of this research is to improve teaching and learning media development Counterboard material addition and subtraction for interesting math learning. This research is a type of development reseach which uses ADDIE. This reseach is taken at SDN Girimoyo 2 Malang on 25 Mei 2018. The models of ADDIE are (1) Analysis (2) Design (3) Development (4) Implementation (5) Evaluation. The media which have develop are validated by material experts and learning experts before tested. The reseach subject is 47 students consisting of 5 students in each group. The result of the validation from media experts receive 95% which is “Very Good” categories. Whereas, the result from material experts receive 84,38% which is “Very Good” categories. On the learning experts receive 96% which is “Very Good” categories. Next after a trial in the student response group is very good because mayority students fill out a very agreeable or very good questionnaire receive 97% which is “Very Good” categories. The result of this research can concluded that Counterboard media development which supports the mathematics learning materials of addition and reduction of grade 1 primary school. In the teaching and learning process, that media acquire good response and encourage students achievement.
