Abstract
Information development cause pornography as new problems to be solved by police and society, especially in Malang area where internet was the main needs for students and undergraduates. The writer here analyzed the existence of porn site in Indonesia, law effort done by Central Police Headquarter (Polresta) of Malang in inquiry, also law efforts done by Central Police Headquarter (Polresta) of Malang in investigation. In this research, the writer used juridical-sociologist approach. Research was done in Central Police Headquarter (Polresta) of Malang with data source consisted of interview and documentation. For data processing, the writer used qualitative descriptive analysis. From the research, porn site distribution was lack of proper handling by police. There were two main classification of the site, paid and not-paid. From law perspective, paid site has more intention in arranging porn contain, while the not-paid site, the intention element was smaller. Law action done by Central Police Headquarter (Polresta) of Malang started from receiving report of site owning with pornography contain. Central Police Headquarter (Polresta) of Malang then collected information. Central Police Headquarter (Polresta) of Malang asked for legitimation in form of arrest letter from the chief of State Court. Then the subject was arrested to face investigator. Law action in investigating for the porn site case consisted of phases where the investigator collected the evidence. The investigator then asked the expert opinion. The investigator then asked information from the subject. The investigator force the subject and evidence to the District Attorney. In this process, the district attorney determined lack of evidence for the case, so that the subject released from the Central Police Headquarter (Polresta) of Malang.
