This research using groups of same age friendship as free variable and teenage independency as bond variable. To Collect the data using independency scale and closed polling for the function of same age group. To find out the validity of the independency scale item, using Pearson product moment method. The result of the validity is 0, 326 and the highestinstrument test is the lowest value of r is 0,741. There are 50 valid items. On closed polling forvalue of r the function of same age group, the validity item done by expert. The subject of this research are students of SMU Negeri 7 Malang. The data analyses using regression with SPPA program 12.00 version. The result for desctiptive analysis showing there are 32 persons included in high independcy grade with 53,33% and there are 28 persons included in lowest indepency grade with 46,67%. The result of the descriptive variable for the function of ssame age group, there are 33 persons with 55,00%, said that the same age group have positive influence and there are 27 person with 45,00% said that the same age group has negative =0,288influnce. The result of correlation analyze, showing R=0,536, R dan p= 0,000(<0,01). These data showing there are significant relation between the function of same age group and teenage independency. The value of determination coefficient (R Square) shows that the mark of influence for function of same age group toward teenage independency are 0,288, it shows that 28,8% depend on same age group, and the rest about 0,712% depend on out side factors from the same age group such as parenting education or family environment.
